Why losses hurt most?

Why is it so hard for us to accept failure??? Personally i cant help but to think why failure hurts me the most... i often say that can i choose not to be affected by it or not?  and then when i read i book Titled "Sometimes we win..." by john maxwell, I have realized why sometimes losses can be one of the thing that hurt us the most. Because we have to admit that sometimes we are not in control of our life or the game it self... but for me being aware on how it will effects us will be one of the key to be able to have the right attitude in experiencing losses.

Goal Settings

To help you understand the importance of goals and to facilitate your own goal-setting, let me give you six important guidelines.

§  Your goal must include others. No goal is worthwhile that is only for yourself. Set a goal big enough to include and help other people.
