“If one has no vision for the future, he has no reason to do what he needs to do now” |
This is my first lifegroup preaching for the year 2016
kingdom… many of us prays that “thy kingdom come as it is in heaven”… we try to live in the kingdom but we are stuck in a limited perspective… a worldly perspective a self-pity and limited perspective… we are in a box/room full of ourselves and full of our own ability…we tell God what we have and kaya lang natin gawin… ang tanong AND This is the question/tension… Did we ask God???
So right now tignan natin yung situation ni Abraham on Genesis chapter 15 and also we have to look at it as if tayo si Abraham… and tignan din natin… paano ba??? I have 4 things to show you How based sa nabasa natin
1. Know who your God is.! Look unto God. 1” “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”” Who’s your daddy now?
a. He knows what you feel “donot be afraid”
b. He knows your name “abram”
c. He is your security “I am your shield”
d. He is your great reward “exceedingly great reward” he will give you more than what we hope or wish for.
2. Do not Limit God. Wag mong pangunahan si Lord. Even you have difficult situation God will use you. He do not look at you status, achievements or family.
3. Simply obey God. Come out of your Tent or Comfort zone – umalis ka sa ganyang pagiisip…
a. Verse5 tells us that God brought him outside… so he is inside his tent…
b. A tent can represent your limited perspective
c. “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!”
d. LOOK??? As if God is not the ultimate looker…. Mukhang familiar no??? have you ever addressed God in prayer like this??? Lord tignan mo… eto lang eto lang eto lang…
4. Believe God Completely. “and he accounted it to him for righteousness”
a. And what Abram believed???
i. 4This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.
ii. “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number “And he believed in the Lord,
